Safety Data Sheet
PVDF
PVDF, or Polyvinylidene fluoride, is a specialty thermoplastic fluoropolymer. Good chemical resistance, temperature stability, and mechanical strength, coupled with ease of processing makes it a good alternative to PTFE.
- Durability and Mechanical properties.
- Temperature range -50°C to +150°C
- Good UV resistance
- Chemical Resistance
- Electrical Properties
- Food and Pharmaceutical approved
- Self-extinguishing
- Ease of processing
- Working temperature range vs PTFE
- Chemical resistance to solvents at high temperatures
- Dimensional stability
- Brittle at low temperatures
- Poor Adhesion
- Ages quicker than PTFE under long term exposure of UV.
Valves, Pumps, Nuclear, Water treatment, sensors, Biomedical, electronic components and much more.
