PVDF

PVDF

PVDF, or Polyvinylidene fluoride, is a specialty thermoplastic fluoropolymer. Good chemical resistance, temperature stability, and mechanical strength, coupled with ease of processing makes it a good alternative to PTFE.

  • Durability and Mechanical properties.
  • Temperature range -50°C to +150°C
  • Good UV resistance
  • Chemical Resistance
  • Electrical Properties
  • Food and Pharmaceutical approved
  • Self-extinguishing
  • Ease of processing
  • Working temperature range vs PTFE
  • Chemical resistance to solvents at high temperatures
  • Dimensional stability
  • Brittle at low temperatures
  • Poor Adhesion
  • Ages quicker than PTFE under long term exposure of UV.

Valves, Pumps, Nuclear, Water treatment, sensors, Biomedical, electronic components and much more.
