PCTFE
PCTFE
PCTFE, or Polychlorotrifluoroethylene, is a fluoropolymer like PTFE but offers stronger, stiffer and more dimensionally stable properties. Often used in cryogenic seals and valve components.
- Dimensional Stability
- Temperature range -240°C to +150°C
- Low Moisture Absorption
- Chemical Resistance
- Self-extinguishing
- Food Compliance
- High Compressive Strength
- Low gas permeability
- Lower working temperature vs PTFE
- Higher cost than PVDF and PTFE
- Affected by some ethers, esters and aromatic solvents.
Cryogenic seals and gaskets, valves, seals, analytical, electrical connectors, semiconductors seals and valves and much more.
