PET-P (Arnite & OmniaLite)
Arnite PET-P
PET-P, or Polyethylene Terephthalate, is known for its good dimensional stability, low moisture absorption and strength compared to Acetal. Preferred material for complex parts, especially in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
- Mechanical performance
- Dimensional stability, due to low moisture absorption
- Temperature range -20°C to +115°C
- Excellent machinability of high-tolerance parts
- Physiological inertness
- FDA compliance
- Limited resistance to weak alkalis and strong alkaline solutions
- Hydrolysis in hot water
- Machinability
- Brittle at low temperatures
- UV degradation
- Brittle at low temperatures
Bearings, sliders, guides, rollers, valves and much more
OmniAlite TX LF
PET-P TX LF, or Polyethylene Terephthalate filled with Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), haslower friction compared with normal PET-P, with greater dimensional stability than PTFE.Suitable for high pressure, speed, sliding parts in wet environments.
- Low friction and heigh wear resistance
- Temperature range -20°C to +115°C
- Mechanical strength and better shock resistance than PET-P
- Good electrical insulation
- Better machinability
- FDA compliance
- UV resistance
- Flammability
- Cost vs standard PET-P
- Impact strength at low temperatures
- Poor chemical resistance to strong acids and weak alkalies
Bearings, bushes, marine, medical, food and much more.
